Progressive Santa ~ keeping up with the times or so it seems

It's unique to be following Santa on his Twitter page but I'm starting to think differently about him. The tone of his posts are not what I expected "bumping fat beats on my sleigh"... I suppose he's changing like the rest of the world. I saw also that someone spotted him eating junk food in the Detroit airport. Santa, what is going on?

Surreal stuff but these Santas know how do to it right. Then there is a HAM involved too which makes it special. I wish I had been there for the shooting of this commercial!

I was in first grade when my teacher told the class that Santa Claus would visit us if we were well behaved. And I thought there was no way he was going to visit us, it never snowed in Bangalore.

And then it happened. We had a Christmas event at school. Christmas carols, a nativity play, principal’s speech and finally the choir had started to sing Jingle Bells and out of nowhere came this big old man with these apple red cheeks, snow white skin, whitest beard and in the brightest red suit I had ever seen. He danced around the stage and started to throw candies at us and then everything was a blur. I was shocked!

I belived in Santa Claus till a Sixth Grader told me that my class teacher Sister Gertrude was inside the Santa Suit!

Santa, is it you on that unicycle?

I see likenesses and people dressed up like the illustrious one ...

The past few weeks have gotten me closer to finding this mysterious man called Santa. My friends have tried to help with sightings and I'm seeing many "effigies" in windows and homes... below was a scene in Washington DC yesterday and below that are two different scenes in Coronado last week. I'm still looking! My "magic hat" is helping to dial in the frequency of where this guy might be...

Santa Tantrum Awards

I don't think I've seen anything funnier recently than the "Santa Tantrum Award" running on The Poop in the San Francisco Chronicle. This is right up my alley for images and narration for content on this blog. I think all of my friends with children should submit some photos in the contest!
